Pleo is a cute robotic dinosaur (baby Camarasaurus) which is designed by Caleb Chung, who also participated in designing Furby. This little dinosaur attracts children as well as adults a lot because it has its own personality and emotion. It can also learn things to adapt the environment. Whenever Pleo plays with people, it may roar or grip someone’s finger. Sometimes it may get angry if people grab its tail(Pleo doesn’t like that feeling)! I think it is convenient to have this kind of tech pet because you don’t have to worry about cleaning its dirt or other health problems but still can enjoy keeping a lovely baby pet! Moreover, people can download the software to update their own dinosaurs. I feel people get closer and involved with technologic things even with this cutey lifelike toy.
