Horse Head Stick – Grandfather Energy – Juan Baños – art 350

Everything that makes up our world is made of energy, including the objects and things we live with. The object I have chosen is the head or effigy of a horse from a cane that belonged to my grandfather, which helped himself to walk. It is an object made of bronze and for me, it has high sentimental and energetic content. Touching it is like feeling his presence, the objects are impregnated by the energy of the person who has used it. I believe that objects absorb the energies we emit. This object unites me to his presence and I have it in my house like a magic amulet.

I have combined the horse’s head with a human skull to make it clear that the essence or structure of the object has a human or spiritual dimension.
