The object that I chose was one of the two speakers that sit on my desk. I spend most of my time at my desk and a lot of that time I spend listening to music. Because my desk is in the living room of my apartment I will also often just play music out loud while I do chores or cook. For this assignment I decided to reimagine the wiring inside to be a little man who plays my music for me. I imagine he’d spend a lot of his time sitting there bored while he waits for me to pick something to listen to, and then when I do finally put something on, he grabs it out of the little filing cabinet that he sits in front of him and puts it on the record player that he has on a table next to him. The final model will be printed on an FDM printer in PLA at roughly 50x57x48mm
