For my stacked slices project, I continued with the same head model I used for the flat fold. I was interested in seeing more of the organic features I sculpted and I thought the two would look interesting side-by-side.

Assembling the head was actually pretty quick. Since I had three dowel rods shooting through the head it was very straight forward and required a minimal amount of glue to hold it together (friction did the rest). The laser cutter burned the edge, and it makes this really cool effect when you look from the side, almost as if the color is changing.
