For this project, I have chosen a fragment of a facade from a building in Chicago. I was attracted to the idea of reproducing those patterns full of details and lines are worn out by the passage of time. The idea of digitalizing and redrawing that architectonic structure, through this technique of laser engraving in a new material like MDF and acrylic, seemed very interesting to me giving new aesthetic results.
