This is my laser engraving I did for the 5th assignment. I am really happy with how it turn out. The only thing that surprise me was the size of the wood. I didn’t know it going to be that small and thin, even though I already saw the dimension but I am not good at imagine how it looks like in real life. Since we did the class remotely online, I actually don’t know how the laser engraving consider to be good. Should it be darker or more clear? Since I cannot be in class and see the example what an appropriate final would looks like. The picture I used is the Vietnamese woman wearing the “Ao Ba ba” and ” Non la” holding the tradition “anh rong”. It is the typical image you will see everyday in Vietnam. I love that image because it represent the feminist of Vietnamese woman but the same time they could be really strong to hold that “ganh” on her shoulder. It could approximately around 50kg-70kg.

Fun fact: All the viets woman who holding those are around 90lbs.
