With this project in easel I was mainly inspired by creating shapes that would be akin to cities in their most geometrical form and curve like hills. When I was working on this in Easel I ran through a number of add-ons and testing which could give me a base to create this image overall. I then decided to create lines that would represent highways that are lifted off from the ground. I wanted to create a major hub like city in the middle of some sort of lake or crevice within the earth. I was somewhat loosely inspired by Mexico city which was built upon a lake when it was known as Tenochtitlan. I think that once I saw the result of this CNC milling I want to play with some resins which I can pour with dye to create pseudo lakes and hills. Although, I would have learn how to work with resin beforehand.
